Day :1 Arrival Luang Prabang (D)
Warmly welcome on arrival Luang Prabang. Transfer to our hotel. Free. At leisure. Welcome dinner. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 2: Luang Prabang (B/L)
An optional early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms (often in the form of sticky rice) from the faithful residents. This tradition is very unique in Laos , being the only Buddhist nation still preserving the ritual.
It is time to explore city with visits to Wat Visoun, the site of impressive Thad Makmo stupa ; the Wat Mai which built in 1796, the five-tiered roof of the wooden Sim (chapel) epitomizes the graceful Luang Prabang architectural style and the Wat Xieng Thong further emphasizes the uniqueness of Luang Prabang, its several roofs sweeping low to the ground and the National museum (the former king's palace). Climb up 350 steps to the top of the Phou Sii hill to visit the Wat Phu Sii and enjoy commanding views for many miles in each direction. and climb up the Phousi hill for overlooking the city. Back to hotel for leisure or you can go shopping at night market, where hundred of Hmong vendors display their handmade handicraft. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 3: Mekong River - Pak Ou cave - Weaving village (B/L)
Take a Mekong Riverboat trip on the mighty Mekong River to visit the famous & sacred Pak Ou Buddha Caves - home to many thousands of Buddha images that were placed here by local people since 16th century - overlooking the confluence of the Mekong & Ou Rivers. On the way back to Luang Prabang visit Por Sa Paper Handicraft & Textile area at Ban Xang Khong. The rest of the day is free at leisure or take an optional trip of an elepand ride in the forest. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 4: Luang Prabang- Vientiane (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel and transfer to airport for flight to Vientiane - The capital city with the wide boulevards are almost devoid of traffic and with its many temples; the city retains the feel of another age. Pick up and transfer to your hotel.
In the afternoon you will visit the Wat Sisaket with its thousands of miniature Buddha statues followed by the Wat Simuang and Wat Prakeo, which was the original home of the famous Emerald Buddha, which today lives in Bangkok. Continue to visit the huge golden That Luang monument, where all Lao citizen respect as holy pagoda and the Vientiane 's own Victory Monument , which looks like the Arc de Triumphe. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Vientiane .
Day 5: Departure (B)
There is no activity planned for today. Enjoy your free time for souvenir shopping until transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
